The UltraComfort Hi-Low Base allows you to raise and lower the height of the adjustable base. This feature allows you to customize the height at which you enter and exit the base - especially useful for those in wheelchairs and for patient transfers. Total lift capacity is 880lbs.
The base deck travels from 11" off the ground to a maximum height of 21.5" from the floor, when used with the regular height legs. If needed, the base can be lowered even further by changing the 3-pc adjustable height legs. Not only do users find relief from pressure-points with this adjustable bed, but occupational therapists and caregivers find that strain on the back is greatly reduced due to less bending.
